KARACHI: There is great news for those aspiring for government jobs, the recruitment process for grades 5 to 15 will begin soon.
According to the details, the Sindh government has officially lifted the ban on recruitment for all government posts from grades 5 to 15.
The notification said that all relevant departments will start the recruitment process as per the rules and regulations.
The Sindh government aims to ensure a transparent, digital and merit-based recruitment process for male and female candidates. Candidates can create a profile through www.sjp.gos.pk, upload documents and apply online.
It may be recalled that on October 28, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah inaugurated the Sindh Job Portal (SJP) in Karachi, through which Sindh became the first province of Pakistan to introduce a central online platform for government jobs.
This platform has been developed in collaboration with the Department of Science and Information Technology and Sukkur IBA University, on which candidates can register, upload documents, and apply to various departments in a transparent manner.
At the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister Sindh had said that this initiative is for equal opportunities and transparent recruitment as per the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
He said that the recruitment of grades 1 to 5 will start within a fortnight, while the recruitment of higher grades will be started soon through the same digital system.
The Chief Minister further said that the portal includes online test scheduling, instant result update, and an integrated system with the Finance Department so that there is no delay in the recruitment process.
