PESHAWAR: After yesterday’s scuffle in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly, the entry of visitors has been banned, here on Wednesday.
According to the official statement, no guest will be allowed to enter the assembly without the permission of the Speaker.
Yesterday, on Tuesday, tension broke out in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly when MLAs engaged in a physical fight during the session.
The opposition members protested not being given the opportunity to speak, and later the situation worsened, prompting the Speaker to adjourn the meeting for 15 minutes.
A heated argument ensued between the members with reports of physical altercations.
There was a verbal exchange between PTI MPA Naik Wazir and PTI Parliamentarians member Iqbal Wazir which soon turned into a scuffle.
The members resorted to kicking and punching each other which disrupted the proceedings of the assembly.
