Firing in Swat, local PPP leader killed

PESHAWAR: A PPP leader was killed in firing in Swat area of ​​Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while a passerby was injured.

According to the police, the firing incident in Matta area of ​​Swat took place due to a long-standing dispute. In the firing incident, PPP Matta Tehsil President Samiullah Khan died on the spot.

According to the rescue, a passerby was also injured in the firing incident. He was immediately shifted to the hospital where his condition is said to be critical.

On the other hand, the police said that after the incident, an accused was arrested by taking immediate action. While a case has been registered and further investigation has been started, the motives and other aspects of the incident are being investigated.

According to the police, all evidence is being collected while the statements of various people have also been recorded. The investigation of the arrested accused is ongoing and raids are being conducted to arrest other people involved in the incident.

The murder of a local PPP leader is being expressed in political and social circles.
