Gujranwala Cantt: 50 PTI Leaders Declared Absconders by Court in Riot Case

Gujranwala: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) had declared 50 PTI leader’s absconders in 9th May case.

According to the details, In the case of rioting and vandalism in Gujranwala Cantt, the court had declared 50 leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as absconders on May 9. The court had issued arrest warrants for the suspects who were declared absconders.

Among the suspects are Murad Saeed, Hamad Azhar, Farukh Habib, Omar Ayub, Ali Amin Gandapur, Zartaj Gul, and others. Founders of PTI, including Pervez Elahi and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, are also nominated suspects in the case.

The court ordered the police to arrest the suspects and present them in court by registering their names in the FIR. During today’s hearing, the JIT members informed the court that the suspects did not appear during the court’s designated period nor did they surrender.”
