ISLAMABAD: The schedule of Hajj flights from Pakistan has been revealed, according to which the first Hajj flight will depart on April 18.
According to sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs, pilgrims will be sent to the Holy Hijaz by 468 flights under the government Hajj scheme. Flights will depart from Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Multan on April 18.
According to sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs, pilgrims will be informed about their respective flights next week. 119,000 pilgrims will be sent under the government scheme.
On the first day of the Hajj operation, pilgrims will be sent to Medina by 4 flights. Hajj flights to Jeddah will start from May 4. The last Hajj flight from Pakistan will depart on May 21.
Sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs say that the operation to transport Hajj pilgrims to the Holy Hijaz will continue for 34 days.
After the start of Hajj flights, pilgrims will be transported to Madinah Munawwarah in the first 15 days. 186 flights will be operated to Madinah Munawwarah and 282 flights to Jeddah.
According to sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Hajj flights will be operated from 8 cities in Pakistan: 129 from Islamabad, 124 from Karachi, 104 from Lahore, 18 from Quetta, 34 from Multan, 26 from Sialkot, 23 from Faisalabad, and 5 from Sukkur.
