Hajj 2026: First Pakistani flight set for April 18

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousaf has reached Riyadh and said regarding Hajj arrangements that the first flight of Hajj pilgrims from Pakistan will reach Saudi Arabia on April 18. For the first time, more than 25,000 Pakistani pilgrims will be provided with the facility of high-speed travel between Mecca and Medina through the Haramain High Speed ​​Railway.
Sardar Yousaf said that Hajj arrangements are complete. This year, 180,000 pilgrims will perform Hajj, of which 120,000 will go under the government quota and 60,000 will go under the private quota.

A new route to Saudi Arabia has also been introduced from Lahore. Flights from other cities will continue as per the fixed schedule. Quality facilities are being provided to the pilgrims, this year the entire quota of Pakistan will be used.

Meanwhile, in a Hajj training program organized by Ulema Academy Mansoura, Deputy Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch and others addressed the Hajj pilgrims from Lahore this year under the Road to Mecca program, under which the immigration of the pilgrims is done at the airport at the time of departure, they do not have to wait after reaching Medina or Jeddah and go straight to their residence. The luggage booked at the airport at the time of the caravan is given to them at their residence.

He said that it is mandatory for the pilgrims to carry the Nasik card with them throughout the journey, which contains personal details and other necessary information.

The pilgrims should come to the Hajj camp only on the scheduled date and time as per their schedule given on the Pak Hajj app for air tickets and visas, identity lockets, luggage tags and packing of medicines and must bring the original identity card, computerized bank receipt with a photo.

A message has been issued on the Pak Hajj app regarding the vaccination, training and other important matters of the pilgrims.
