ISLAMABAD: The federal government of Pakistan has launched the 9999 PM Ramzan Relief Package 2026 to support low-income families facing rising inflation and food costs during the holy month.

As per the details, the Ramadan Relief Package Registration process has been designed as a fully digital, CNIC-based system to ensure direct and transparent assistance to deserving households.

Instead of long queues or complex paperwork, families can now confirm their eligibility through a simple SMS process. The initiative aims to provide timely financial support so beneficiaries can observe Ramadan with dignity and peace of mind.

The package includes expected direct cash assistance of around Rs5,000 and essential ration support in selected districts. The system uses verified national databases to prevent duplication and eliminate middlemen.

Ramadan Relief Package Eligibility Criteria

The government has defined a clear Ramadan relief package eligibility criteria to ensure support reaches genuine beneficiaries. Eligibility is determined through official socio-economic databases and digital verification systems.

Priority groups include:

  • Low-income households
    Widows
    Persons with disabilities
    Daily wage earners
    Families already registered in welfare databases

Applicants must:

  • Hold a valid CNIC
    Not be an active taxpayer
    Not be a government employee
    Ensure their data matches official records
    Final eligibility confirmation is mandatory before funds are disbursed.

For citizens with internet access, Ramadan relief package registration online will be facilitated through an official government portal.

Applicants can follow these steps:

  • Visit the official relief portal: http://pmrrp.nitb.gov.pk/
    Enter your 13-digit CNIC number (without dashes).
    Submit the request.
    Wait for confirmation or eligibility status update.
    Authorities have advised citizens to use only official government channels and avoid third-party agents or fraudulent websites.

SMS Registration and Operational Oversight

For those without internet access, the 9999 SMS service provides a simple alternative:

  • Open the mobile message application.
    Type your 13-digit CNIC number.
    Send it to 9999.
    Receive confirmation and eligibility status via SMS.
    The service is free, CNIC-based, and accessible on all major mobile networks.
