LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has formally inaugurated the ‘Apna Khet, Apna Rozgar Scheme’ portal, giving good news to 50,000 farmers regarding government land.
1. Landless person or owner of a residential plot up to ten marla.
2. Genuine permanent resident of the same revenue estate where such state land is located.
3. A family will be eligible for one lot, beneficiaries of any government allotment or lease scheme will not be eligible.
4. Employees of the federal government or provincial governments, autonomous bodies, corporations etc. or their dependents will not be eligible.
After the publication of the schedule, the applicant can apply online on the PELRA website, or can apply for lease of state land manually in the office of the Assistant Commissioner.
The applications will be reviewed by the Scrutiny and Monitoring Committee and after approval of the District Collector, the list of eligible applicants for computerized balloting will be published online on the PELRA website and will also be displayed in the office of the Assistant Commissioner.
Successful applicants will be selected from the eligible applicants through computerized balloting.

After final approval of the list of successful applicants, the Assistant Commissioner will issue allotment orders and ensure the provision of possession to the successful applicants.
