Hyderabad woman murdered by son, daughter-in-law over garbage dispute

HYDERABAD: A woman was tortured to death by her son and daughter-in-law for stopping her from throwing garbage in the city of Hyderabad, Sindh.

As per the details, police said that the victim has been identified as Kulsoom, whom the two killed over a domestic dispute in the Gujarati Pare area of ​​the city.

Police have shifted the body of the victim to the Civil Hospital for further legal action.

The woman’s son Sajjad said that the argument started when the mother stopped her daughter-in-law from throwing garbage. On which, the elder brother Muhammad Ali and his wife pushed the mother and brutally tortured her.

Sajjad said that the elder brother and his wife had tortured the mother in the past as well.

A sad incident also took place in November 2024 where the unfortunate son killed his mother with an axe over a family dispute in the outskirts of Bhakkar. A case has been registered on the complaint of the father.

Police said that the tragic incident took place in Hyderabad Thal, Bhakkar, where the son attacked his mother with a sharp axe, seriously injuring her.

The 55-year-old victim, Manzooran Mai, died on the way to the hospital.

Police said that the death was due to deep head injuries, the body has been sent for postmortem.

According to DPO Shahzad Rafique, the killer son Tauqir fled the scene, the reason for the crime was a family dispute.
