ISLAMABAD: In another relief to the former ruling party, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) instructed to immediately de-seal the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Central Secretariat in the federal capital.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday announced the reserved verdict on PTI’s plea against the sealing of the party’s central office in Islamabad.
In a six-page written order, IHC’s Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz stated, “CDA may take action strictly in accordance with law in case of any non-conformity or violation of the applicable laws.”
A few days ago, CDA had sealed the Central Secretariat of PTI, located in Islamabad’s G-8 sector, for ‘violating building rules’, along with demolishing a portion of the building as part of an anti-encroachment operation.
