RAWALPINDI: Ex-PTI leaders Imran Ismail and Aamir Kiayani are busy in the advertisement of illegal and unapproved housing project ‘Avalon City’.

The housing project had already been involved in fraudulent activities with innocent citizens.

According to the published reports the housing is unapproved by Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) while Imran Ismail and Aamir Kiayani are adverting the society in the print media.

Earlier, in March the Anti-Corruption Department had registered a case against Imran Ismail, Aamir Kiayani, two Patwaris, and society owner Asim Aziz over allegations of corruption in a housing society.

During the investigation, it was revealed that after Abdullah City’s reputation was destroyed and tales of loot and plunder became the talk of the town, the society’s owners launched a new scheme called Avalon City which has no record of NOC in RDA.

The inquiry also exposed the alleged collusion of the revenue department, as with the department’s help, the society’s owners allegedly started robbing the common citizens.

After the inquiry’s completion, Case No. 5/23 was registered against Asim Aziz, former federal minister, former governor Sindh, and Fahad Kayani under sections 420, 468, 471, 405, and 5/2-47 PCA.
