RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has apologized to journalist Ijaz Ahmed for his bitter behavior in jail.
Senior journalist Rizwan Ghilzai, while issuing a message on X, said that “Imran Khan apologized to journalist Ijaz Ahmed while talking to journalists in jail and said that I am aware of the difficulties of the media, the media is under pressure, I am not at all against media workers and reporters, if you were hurt by my words that day, I apologize.”
Providing more details in this context, journalist Saqib Bashir said that Imran Khan apologized to journalist Ijaz Ahmed in jail two or three times, then Ijaz replied to Imran Khan, “I think I should also have shown restraint, after which the matter was over.
