RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has refused to undergo a polygraph test for the third time, according to media reports.
The Lahore Police investigation team, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Asif Javed, arrived in Adiala Jail to conduct the tests.
Sources say that the investigation team was supposed to conduct a polygraph test of the PTI founder in the May 9 cases, however, Imran Khan once again refused to undergo a polygraph test, after which the Lahore Police investigation team left Adiala Jail.
It should be noted that the Lahore Police has been coming to conduct a polygraph, photogrammetric and voice matching test of the PTI founder for the past 3 days.
Earlier, in another development, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday granted bail to 86 PTI workers in the November 26 protest case against surety bonds of Rs 10,000 each and ordered their release.
The Acting Chief Justice (CJ) of the Islamabad High Court, Justice Sarfaraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif, granted the bail to the workers.
Ali Bukhari, Sardar Masroof, and Zahid Bashir Dar appeared in the court on behalf of the petitioners.
