This development comes after the Indian media posted videos and pictures of the funeral prayer of innocent people killed in the recent attack in Muridke, in which respectable cleric Hafiz Abdul Rauf led the prayers besides the personnel of the Pakistan Army.

India, maintaining its history of blunders, confused the respectable personality with a Lashkar-e-Tayyiba (LeT) Commander, Abdul Rauf Azhar, who is a wanted terrorist responsible for heinous crimes.

The Indian media, without verifying the information, started a negative propaganda campaign against Pakistan, showcasing affiliation with terrorist groups.

It is important to clarify that Abdul Rauf Azhar and Hafiz Abdul Rauf are two separate persons with different backgrounds and credentials. Abdul Rauf Azhar is a wanted terrorist, while Hafiz Abdul Rauf has a clean record.
