Bilawal stated that someone is fighting elections to escape from prison, and someone is contesting to get out of jail, he said.

Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stated that some forces had aimed to eliminate the PPP, but he feels a sense of happiness prevailing in Punjab.

Speaking at a rally in Tandlianwala, Bilawal Bhutto expressed joy at being present in Punjab and conveyed a message that they are not afraid. He stated that the intent was to silence the voice of the poor by martyring Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, but the PPP will demonstrate fearlessness and inform the entire Pakistan that the Jiyalas (PPP supporters) are alive in Punjab.

Bilawal Bhutto emphasized that inflation has reached its highest level in history, and he asserted that the PPP will compete with political parties in Punjab, claiming their rights. He highlighted that aristocratic parties have been given authority over the province and the country, and whenever they come into power, they commit injustices. The economic conditions of the country have reached historical lows under their rule.

He said that Benazir Bhutto was the Prime Minister for the poor, farmers, and laborers. Bilawal expressed the need to form a democratic government once again and make a Jiyala the Chief Minister and Prime Minister.

Bilawal stated that someone is fighting elections to escape from prison, and someone is contesting to get out of jail; however, the PPP is fighting elections for the people. He added that they will go door-to-door to inform people that they will double their salaries and income. If the PPP forms the government, 300 units of electricity will be provided free of cost to the poor.

He mentioned that whenever politicians in Punjab fall ill, they go to London for treatment. Now, if people make his government, these politicians will not have to go abroad for medical treatment, and the PPP will ensure proper medical care for them.

Bilawal revealed that they have brought a 10-point agenda in their manifesto. According to the manifesto, there will be free and standard healthcare in the health sector, and they will establish free treatment hospitals in every district of Punjab.

He said that the PPP has initiated projects to combat poverty. If people vote for the PPP, they will build 30 lakh (3 million) houses across Pakistan. They will regularize every settlement in Punjab and grant ownership rights to the inhabitants.

Bilawal Bhutto announced that they have built 20 lakh (2 million) houses in Sindh in response to floods. If such work can be done in Sindh, then they can also build houses in Punjab in response to floods.

He emphasized that in the heat of emotions and enthusiasm, if people want to waste their votes, there are many other options. Whether they want a young Prime Minister or a government that solves problems, Bilawal stated that the PPP will provide financial assistance to the youth for one year through youth cards. Once the youth find employment, they will repay the loan.
