ISLAMABAD: A formal application has been submitted to the Ministry of Interior for an investigation against a Ministry of Interior employee and officials of AHG Flavors for forgery and fabrication of official documents.

The complaint, filed by Abdul Qayyum Hafeez, requested the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against an Interior Ministry official, Syed Nisar Shah, and officials of AHG Flavors (Private) Limited.

The complainant, a resident of Islamabad, accuses Shah of colluding with AHG Flavors officials, including Jabran Mustafa (CEO), Haris Mustafa (Chairman), Irfan Mustafa, Yasmin Mustafa, Aisha Mustafa (Directors), and Naeemullah Malik (Accountant), to create and use forged documents to mislead authorities and obstruct justice.

Specifically, the complainant states that Syed Nisar Shah and AHG Flavors officials allegedly provided a forged closure letter purportedly issued by the FIA Islamabad, pertaining to Inquiry No. 138/2022.

This letter, dated 15/02/2024, was submitted to various authorities to falsely claim that the inquiry against AHG Flavors had been closed. However, FIA Deputy Director Hassan Naqvi confirmed that the closure letter was fake and the inquiry was still ongoing.

The complaint, a copy of which is available with Daily Ausaf, further alleges that the same individuals purportedly fabricated another closure letter from FIA Karachi and a third closure letter from Customs authorities in Karachi, both used to assert the closure of inquiries against AHG Flavors.

The complainant claims this demonstrates a pattern of dishonesty and criminal intent. The complaint also expresses concern that a Ministry of Interior employee could fabricate multiple forged documents using official letterheads and seals, damaging the reputation of the government institution.

Abdul Qayyum Hafeez has requested that the Ministry of Interior initiate a thorough investigation, register an FIR against the accused, and ensure that appropriate legal action is taken to prevent further fraudulent activities.
