Internal restructuring in Ministry of Interior notified

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior on Monday announced the transfer of several sections from its IFS Wing to the BM Wing, with immediate effect.

The sections will be shifted along with their functions and staff to streamline operations and enhance efficiency within the ministry.

According to the office order dated January 13, 2025, the following sections have been transferred;

  • Section (PE-I), (PE-II), and (PE-III) from DS (Security) to DS (Visa)
  • Section (PE-IV) from DS (IC/FATF) to DS (Visa)
  • Section (MMC) from DS (IC/FATF) to DS (FIA)

All the above-mentioned sections will be transferred along with the office and staff members, and the office order, signed by Section Officer (Admn-I) Imran Asghar, said.

This restructuring aims to optimize the Ministry’s internal workflow and improve service delivery.
