Internet down ‘again’ for Pakistani users as sea-cables damaged

Islamabad: Two fibre-optic cables connecting Pakistan with the world have been cut from different places, here on Wednesday.

According to the details, due to the cutting of fibre optic cables, internet users in Pakistan will face severe problems.

As per the sources in the Telecom Authority, both major fibre optic cuts will cause difficulties for mobile phone and landline internet users to browse the internet.

SMW Four SMW Fa has been cut from both Dubai and Oman routes, which has not yet been repaired.

Mobile phone companies have sent SMS to users regarding slow internet speed.
