Iqrar Ul Hassan expresses grief over demise of Raja Matloob

LAHORE: Renowned anchorperson Iqrar Ul Hassan expressed deep grief over the sudden passing of media professional Raja Matloob, sharing his emotions on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He described Raja Matloob as “a brother like a friend and a friend like a brother,” and prayed for the elevation of his ranks and patience for the bereaved family.

Raja Matloob was associated with the media industry and was widely known as a hardworking, kind, and respected professional. His untimely death has come as a major shock to journalists and colleagues across the media fraternity.

Several showbiz personalities and members of the public also expressed sorrow over the tragic loss. Iqrar Ul Hassan’s second wife, Farah Yousaf, shared an old picture of Raja Matloob on Instagram, writing an emotional note saying she was unable to comprehend the loss and requested prayers for the departed soul.

Meanwhile, Iqrar Ul Hassan’s third wife, Aroosa Iqrar, also paid tribute by sharing pictures on her official Instagram account. The images showed Raja Matloob in a cheerful mood alongside Waseem Badami, Iqrar Ul Hassan, and their spouses. She captioned the post, “Our brother is gone,” accompanied by a crying emoji, reflecting the deep sorrow felt by those close to him.
