ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Courts Islamabad issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi in a case of making misleading allegations against state institutions and damaging their reputation.
The court ruled on the absence of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, after which the court ordered the arrest and production of Sohail Afridi.
The case registered against Sohail Afridi was heard by Senior Civil Judge Abbas Shah, the court adjourned further hearing of the case till April 16.
It should be noted that the NCCIA has registered a case against Sohail Afridi under the PECA Act.
