Islamabad: Islamabad police officials stole belongings of Afghan refugees, prompting a high-level investigation.

Like the rest of the country, the process of eviction of illegal foreign residents from Islamabad is going on. The illegal residents accused the SHO Shalimar police station, admin officer and ASI of not returning their belongings.

According to the sources, the SHO Shalimar police station and the officers did not return the belongings of the Afghan nationals, SSP Operations has taken notice of the complaints and started the investigation.

According to the police spokesperson, SHO Shalimar police station along with the admin officer and the concerned ASI have been suspended. According to the police, 19 Afghan nationals were sent from Shalimar police station to Torkham yesterday.
