Islamabad to get first ever modern adventure park

ISLAMABAD: The Capital City administration has planned to create Islamabad’s first adventure park offering new entertainment opportunities for families and increasing tourism in the federal capital.

The decision was taken during a meeting presided over by Secretary Interior Mohammad Khurram Agha, attended by CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa, the member environment, and other relevant authorities.

The officials considered establishing an Adventure City Park at a feasible location in Islamabad. This will be one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city in the future.

A site has not yet been determined, but the park may be created near  Lake View Park, according to sources,

Meanwhile, a press statement stated that the meeting was informed that increasing tourism in Islamabad remained CDA’s top priority, with all available resources being used for this purpose. The Adventure City Park will have walkways, bicycle tracks, and complete environmental and recreational infrastructure. Participants emphasized the capital’s tremendous tourism-related investment possibilities.

The CDA chairman stated that initiatives were being done to improve the attractiveness and tourism attractions of parks through visually appealing soft landscaping and environmentally responsible tree planting. He stated that a plan was being established for the Adventure City project to provide world-class tourism and other faculties to meet the demands of the the residents of Islamabad.

Mr Randhawa stated that financially and operationally feasible approaches would be used for the Adventure City Park. He instructed that a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) be installed beside the Adventure City to guarantee environmental sustainability. The board instructed that the project include cutting-edge recreational amenities to help Islamabad become a top global tourism destination.

The CDA chairman reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to promoting Islamabad’s growth while also improving tourism and high-quality leisure amenities. He stated his unwavering intention to make every effort to establish Islamabad as one of the world’s most attractive and tourist-friendly cities.
