Islamabad weather forecast: Pleasant weather to continue in federal capital

ISLAMABAD: The capital city experienced light rainfall and pleasant weather during the day with expected cloudy weather, gusty wind, and humid weather in the evening. However, the temperatures varied from 30 to 38 degrees Celsius.

The humidity level rages up to 80% with a 40 percent chance of rain, followed by a light breeze in the direction northwest with a speed of 15 to 25 km/h. The air quality improved due to continuous rainfall from the last three days.

The Pakistan Metrological Department predicts heavy rainfall, accompanied by gusty winds and thundershowers in places, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, Punjab, southeastern Sindh and Balochistan.

Moreover, heavy rainfalls may also occur at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Pothohar region, and south Balochistan during the period from July 30 to August 5.

Earlier forecasts from the Met Office indicated rain likely in isolated places in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan on Saturday, with isolated showers expected in northern Punjab.

Moreover, PMD has also forecasted hot and humid weather with light rainfall in most parts of the country. Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Hyderabad, Khuzdar, and Larkana being on the top.
