ISLAMABAD: The Federal Ombudsman for protection against harassment summoned the Principal of G-11 Girls College Raheela Owais on July 3 in a clerk harassment case.
Federal Ombudsman heard the case of harassment filed by a clerk Asif against female Principal Raheela. The judge issued a final notice to the principal to appear before the court on July 3 as she failed to appear today.
The notice mentioned that Principal Raheela Owais did not appear in court despite being present on duty and pretending to be ill to delay the proceedings. Federal Ombudsman also sought a response from her regarding the ban on the entry of Clerk Asif into the college.
According to the details, the complainant alleged that the college Principal banned him from joining duty by instructing the gatekeeper not to allow him to enter the premises.
The committee formed by DG Federal Education failed to control administrative matters across Islamabad’s public educational institutes. The powers given to the school and college principals made life miserable for the junior staff members.
As per the authority, the Federal Directorate of Education and the Ministry of Education cannot transfer any employee without the consent of the principal.
