List of people deceased, injured in Islamabad suicide blast revealed

ISLAMABAD: Hospital sources have released the list of people who died and were injured in a suicide blast outside the Islamabad district court on Tuesday afternoon.

Earlier, while giving a media briefing after the incident, the Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that at least 12 people were martyred and 27 were injured.

The deceased and injured were shifted to PIMS, and an emergency was imposed at the hospital with a heavy contingent of police guarding the facility.

According to the hospital sources, those killed in the blast are identified as Iftikhar Ali, Syed Sajjad Shah, Tariq Khan, Iftikhar Khan, Subhanuddin, Saqlain Mehdi, Safdar Ali, Shah Muhammad Sajid, Zubair Ghuman Advocate, and Muhammad Abdullah.

While one dead body is still unidentified, said hospital officials.

Furthermore, personnel of the Islamabad police injured in the suicide blast were identified as Head Constable Muhammad Imran, Constable Kohsar Police Station Imran Javed, and ASI Ramna Police Station Irshad. Balochistan Police personnel Muhammad Ramzan is also among the injured.

As per reports, the information counter could not be set up in PIMS Hospital, as citizens face severe difficulties due to the lack of an information counter.

Citizens face difficulties in getting information about their loved ones injured and died in an unfortunate incident.
