One injured, other shot dead outside judicial complex in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: In yet another bizarre incident in the federal capital, a man was killed and injured in a firing incident outside the judicial complex in the G-11 sector of Islamabad on Thursday.

According to the details, armed men opened fire on victims when they were released from the court. The injured have been shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, Islamabad police have reached the site of the incident and initiated an investigation.

Earlier on September 18, the body of a woman was found along the road in the Margalla Hills, about 1.5 kilometers from Monal, the victim was allegedly gunned down by unknown assailants.

The police said the woman had been shot in the head by unknown outlaws.

The Kohsar Police, led by SHO Shafqat Fayaz, reached the scene and shifted the body to Polyclinic Hospital for further investigation. The police have collected the fingerprint samples of the deceased to determine her identity.
