Women reconcile with accused Jamal after F-9 Park Islamabad assault incident

ISLAMABAD: The women and accused Jamal have reconciled after the assault incident near F-9 Park in Islamabad.

According to the police, Jamal was granted bail after reconciliation on March 7. An agreement between the parties has come to light, stating that they are completely satisfied, Jamal is innocent, and the case was registered due to misunderstanding.

The women said that if the court releases Jamal, they have no objection, and they do not want to pursue the case further. The agreement was signed by all three women.

It is worth noting that a video of the incident had recently gone viral in which the accused were shown dragging the women by their hair in front of a well-known food chain near F-9 Park.

On the complaint of a woman, the Margalla police registered a case against the accused. The FIR states that on the night of February 23, Jamal and his accomplices attacked the women, stole 10 tolas of gold ornaments and Rs. 1 million in cash. 2 million in cash.

Islamabad Police confirmed that the incident took place on February 23, and they immediately arrested the main accused, Jamal. After obtaining a 3-day physical remand, the police recovered the stolen goods and presented a charge sheet in the court, sending Jamal to jail on judicial remand.
