ISTANBUL: The Istanbul talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan were stalled due to the stubbornness of the Afghan Taliban delegation.

According to sources, the Taliban delegation was not serious in the talks from the beginning.

The entire responsibility for the failure of the talks lies with the Taliban government, as they were peddling the Indian narratives.

Contrary to the facts, the Afghan Taliban government has started propaganda against Pakistan on social media.

The Afghan Taliban government is diverting attention from eliminating terrorism and the real issues.

The arguments of the Afghan Taliban are illogical and far from the ground realities.

Pakistan has made it clear many times that it wants peace and stability in Afghanistan. Pakistan’s position is that the Taliban government should end its support for the TTP and prevent Afghan soil from being used against Pakistan.

During the talks, Pakistan made it clear to the Afghan Taliban that the Afghan government does not accept the patronage of terrorists, and Pakistan will take all necessary measures to protect the borders and the security of the people.
