Man booked for harassing female teacher

SHEIKHUPURA: Police arrested a man who is accused of sexually harassing a school teacher in Sheikhupura’s Ferozewala area. The authorities have registered a case against the suspect and initiated legal proceedings.

The issue was unearthed after a viral video on social media. In the video, the suspect was recorded performing an indecent act on a veiled woman who was walking along the street and then running away from the scene.

The Complaint Cell of the Chief Minister verified the arrest on the platform X (previously Twitter). The release guaranteed that the harasser of the female teacher is now under police custody.

Following the emergence of the video, netizens showed anger and urged the Punjab Police to act fast. Most people demanded severe punishment in order to make an example and prevent similar harassment cases from occurring in the future.
