KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami has announced protests at several key locations across Karachi today against the increasing number of deaths in heavy traffic accidents.
According to a statement issued by the party, protest sit-ins will be held at major roads, highways, and important public places across the city starting at 5:00 pm.
Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi chief Munam Zafar Khan will address the central protest sit-in at Noorani Kabab House Chowrangi on Shahrah-e-Quaidain.
The statement further listed the protest locations, which include Star Gate, Shahrah-e-Faisal, MA Jinnah Road, University Road, Dawood Chowrangi, Korangi Crossing, Tibet Centre, Mausamiyat, Power House Chowrangi, Hub River Road, Pracha Chowk, Sher Shah, Hyderi, North Nazimabad, Liaquatabad No. 10, Sohrab Goth, and Orangi Town No. 5.
