Weather Alert: PMD forecast rain in various parts of country

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in various parts of the country as the cold weather intensified.

The weather will remain cold and partly cloudy in Murree, Galiat, and Islamabad, while the temperature in Bagrot and Skardu was recorded at minus two degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain is likely in Rawalpindi, Murree, Pothohar Region, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Sargodha, Khushab, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and Gujarat.

In addition, rain is also expected in Chagai, Noshki, Panjgur, Kech, Godar, Quetta, Kalat, Mastung, Qila Saifullah, Ziarat, Harnai, and Zhob.

On the other hand, fog will prevail in Sialkot, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Bahawalnagar, Okara, Sahiwal, Multan, and Dera Ghazi Khan, while smog is likely in Gujarat, Jhelum, Faisalabad, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh.
