Jamia Nizamia Rizvia chief Nazim Mufti Hafiz Abdul Rahim Hazarvi passes away

SHEIKHUPURA: The Chief Nazim of Jamia Nizamia Rizvia, Sheikhupura, Mufti Hafiz Abdul Rahim Hazarvi, has passed away.

The deceased was the uncle of Tanzeem Al-Madaris Pakistan Chief Nazim Maulana Abdul Mustafa Hazarvi. His funeral prayers will be offered today after Asr prayers at Jamia Nizamia Rizvia, Sheikhupura.

Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Mufti Hafiz Abdul Rahim Hazarvi and paid tribute to his religious and academic services.

Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan has prayed for the elevation of the deceased’s rank and for patience for the family.

Earlier, Prominent religious scholar of Pakistan, Mufti Abdul Qayyum Khan Hazarvi, passed away.

According to the details, the deceased was the head of the Darul Ifta of Minhaj-ul-Quran, a teacher of Islamic sciences and jurisprudence.

The deceased had been teaching at the College of Sharia and Islamic Sciences for 38 years. The funeral prayer of Mufti Abdul Qayyum Khan Hazarvi will be offered after Maghrib prayers at the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran.

The funeral prayer of the deceased will be led by the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed deep grief over the demise of the deceased. He said that the deceased was a scholar of Islamic jurisprudence and an unscrupulous and distinguished religious scholar.
