JUI leader Maulana Hafiz Sultan Muhammad martyred in Wana attack

WAZIRISTAN: Prominent religious scholar and JUI leader Maulana Hafiz Sultan Muhammad, who was injured in a blast in the Wana area of ​​South Waziristan yesterday, succumbed to his injuries.

According to family sources, Maulana Hafiz Sultan Muhammad breathed his last at Mufti Mahmood Hospital in Dera Ismail Khan.

According to police, Maulana Hafiz Sultan Muhammad was seriously injured in the blast near the madrasa located in Konra China area of ​​Wana.

The incident took place when he was on his way home from the madrasa when he was hit by a blast.

He was immediately shifted to Dera Ismail Khan in an injured condition, but he could not survive.

Maulana Hafiz Sultan Muhammad was the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Waziristan, the head of the Waziristan Wafaq Madaris and a prominent religious figure.

Ameer JUI-Pakistan Maulana Fazlur Rehman has expressed deep grief and sorrow over his martyrdom.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the news of the martyrdom of Maulana Hafiz Sultan Muhammad has caused deep sorrow.

He prayed that Allah Almighty accept the martyrdom of the deceased and grant him a place in the highest heaven.

The JUI-F chief demanded an immediate investigation into the incident and making an example of the responsible accused. He said that the continuous increase in terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan is extremely regrettable and the state has completely failed to provide security to the citizens.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed his condolences to the family, workers, local people and students of the deceased and prayed that Allah Almighty grant patience to the family.
