KARACHI: The results of the Intermediate Part I Science General Group annual examinations for 2025 were announced by Chairman Higher Secondary Education Board Karachi Faqir Muhammad Lakho in the committee room of Interboard Karachi.
Special Secretary of the Universities and Boards Department, Government of Sindh, Sohail Anwar Baloch was also present on this occasion.
According to the Director of Examinations Zarina Rashid, 19,212 candidates registered in the Science General Group, out of which 18,813 candidates participated in the examinations.
Out of the examinations, 9,678 candidates were declared successful in all 6 papers, while 3,542 candidates passed five, 2,353 passed four, 1,405 passed three, 860 passed two and 580 candidates passed one paper.
Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho said that for the first time in the history of Interboard Karachi, the mathematics paper in the Science General Group was conducted under e-marking.
The mathematics paper was examined through e-marking according to the Rubrics system, which ensured transparency, accuracy and quality.
He added that Interboard Karachi is continuously taking steps to modernize the examination system and in the annual examinations of the coming year 2026, more intermediate papers will be examined under e-marking so that quality and transparency are maintained.
