KARACHI: Security agencies have rescued a young student who was being prepared for a suicide attack by terrorists, saving Karachi from a major disaster.
While holding a press conference along with Additional IG CTD Azad Khan and Karachi Police Chief Javed Alam Odho, Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar said that a girl was contacted through social media, stories were told by the terrorists and the girl’s mind was shaped.
He said that they have tried not to reveal the girl’s family and address, the government will make arrangements and help for her betterment, this is our priority, we want the lives of this girl and her family to be protected first.
The Sindh Home Minister said that the terrorists’ narrative is based on lies, these people create false narratives against the state through social media, parents should monitor the use of social media by their children, the Baloch people should monitor such terrorist organizations.
Zia Lanjar said that we saved this girl through timely action, we are trying our best to ensure that the girl resumes her education and becomes a bright future for this country, we want this girl to become a teacher and teach children according to her wish.

Additional IG CTD Azad Khan said that the banned BLA official contacted the girl through Instagram and added the girl to the WhatsApp group, the girl used social media like ordinary children, the girl was initially given hateful material and then her mind was formed and she was made anti-state.
He said that the girl was saved from becoming a suicide bomber, the girl was completely formed and it was said that a big job is to be taken from her, the girl was taken out of Karachi, we do not consider the girl an accused due to her young age.
The AIG CTD said that the girl was caught during a snap check outside Karachi, the family was called and told everything, we are not taking them to the criminal justice system, they will be given protection.
