12-year-old girl killed in Karachi due to celebratory firing at wedding

KARACHI: In a tragic incident, a 12-year-old girl lost her life after being shot at a wedding ceremony in Karachi on Sunday.

According to the details, the incident took place in the Superhighway area of ​​Karachi, where some people opened fire in the air during the wedding celebration, resulting in the death of 12-year-old girl Azila Sabz Ali.

According to police reports, the girl was attending the wedding when she was shot in the chest, which is fatal.

Police say that two suspects named Janzada and Jamal Shah have been arrested, and weapons have been recovered from them.

Earlier, on January 14, a 45-year-old man named Hameed lost his life after being shot at a wedding ceremony in Landhi area of ​​Karachi.

According to police, members of the groom opened fire in the air at the wedding ceremony in Landhi No. 06.

The deceased, who was also a relative and neighbor of the groom, was shot in the chest, which proved fatal. Several people have been detained for questioning.

Earlier, a teenage girl lost her life after being shot at a wedding ceremony in Lahore.

The incident took place within the limits of Manawan police station where some people opened fire in the air, resulting in the death of a 16-year-old girl.

A case was registered against unknown suspects on the complaint of the victim’s father.
