Karachi weather update: PMD warns temperature to rise above 40 degree Celsius

KARACHI: Karachi is expected to see a one-to-two-degree Celsius rise in temperature over the next 24 hours, possibly reaching 38 degrees Celsius.

Today will be hot and humid, with strong winds.

The heat index is forecast to feel above 40 degrees Celsius.

The morning temperature was 31 degrees Celsius, with a humidity of 69 percent, making it feel like 34 degrees.

Winds are blowing from the west at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour.

Authorities are advising residents to limit sunlight exposure during this heat wave and stay well hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
