KARACHI: An 3.1 magnitude earthquake tremors felt in port city of Karachi on Wednesday.
The National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) confirmed that tremors were felt in Malir, Landhi, Quaidabad, Kathore and Gadap Town.
The earthquake was recorded at 3.1 on richer scale and the epicentre of was New Malir Karachi and the depth was 12km, it said.

According to the reports, no loss of life or property was reported due to the earthquake.
Last month, Earthquake tremors were felt in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) including Swat.
According to the seismological center, the magnitude of the earthquake was 4.8, the depth was 185 km, while the epicenter was the border area of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
