Woman killed her husband over domestic dispute in Karachi

KARACHI: A woman shot and killed her husband over a domestic dispute in Karachi‘s Nazimabad area, here on Tuesday.

As per the details, the body of the deceased was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal proceedings.

According to Abid Shah, SHO of Rizviya Society police station, the incident took place inside a house in Feroz Colony Nazimabad 2 where 40-year-old man Abdul Ghaffar son of Haider Jan was killed by his wife Samina.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased was addicted to drugs and had frequent quarrels with his wife, whom he also abused.

Abdul Ghaffar’s wife Samina shot him and fled the scene during the altercation on Monday. Police are actively looking for him and hope to arrest him soon.

Abid Shah further stated that the accused Samina used her brother’s 9 mm pistol which is allegedly owned by a security guard.

The deceased was a father of three daughters, police are investigating the matter further.
