Kayani, Sattar among IHC judges shifted in reshuffle

ISLAMABAD: In a significant judicial development, Islamabad High Court (IHC) Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani has been transferred to the Lahore High Court following a decision by the Judicial Commission.

Justice Babar Sattar has been transferred to Peshawar High Court, while Justice Saman Riffat Imtiaz has been transferred to Sindh High Court.

According to sources, the transfer was approved during a meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan, where the decision was taken by a majority of nine votes.

The move marks a notable reshuffle within the superior judiciary, with formal notification expected to be issued shortly.

Further details regarding the reasons behind the transfer have not been officially shared, while legal circles are closely observing the development.
