Key hearing in GHQ Attack Case today, Imran Khan to appear via video link

RAWALPINDI: The important hearing of the GHQ attack case will be held today in the special anti-terrorism court, on this occasion, the founder of PTI will be presented via video link.

According to a private TV, the hearing of the GHQ attack case against more than 120 accused including the founder of PTI, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, will be held today.

The founder of PTI will be presented in the courtroom via video link from Adiala Jail. So far, the statements of 45 prosecution witnesses have been recorded in the GHQ attack case.

The court has summoned 3 more prosecution witnesses today to record their testimonies. The legal team of lawyers comprising the founder of PTI, Muhammad Faisal Malik, Barrister Salman Safdar and Salman Akram Raja will appear in the courtroom.

The prosecution team comprising Prosecutor Zaheer Shah will appear in the courtroom. It should be remembered that the May 9 GHQ attack case case is registered in the RA Bazar police station of Rawalpindi.

In the Toshakhana II case, PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi have prepared appeals to challenge the verdict against them, which will be filed in the Islamabad High Court.

Appeals against the decision of the Special Judge Central will be filed in the Islamabad High Court on Monday, in two separate appeals filed by Barrister Salman Safdar, seeking to declare the decision null and void.

According to the text of the appeals, the court relied on the statement of Inamullah Shah, who had been dismissed, and the statement of the promissory witness, which could not be done.
