Khuzdar bus explosion leaves one dead, several injured

KHUZDAR: A devastating explosion occurred on a Punjab-bound passenger bus, resulting in the death of one man and injuring other passengers, according to police reports on Sunday.

The blast occurred when the bus heading from Khuzdar to Rawalpindi was on the Khori Highway, killing one and injuring many others. Those injured have been moved to the hospital for treatment.

Police have opened an investigation into the incident, attempting to find out what caused the explosion.

Again, a grenade went off in one house of Muhammadzai area of Kohat, resulting in the death of two women and the serious injury of two children, according to rescue sources.

The injured people were taken to the district headquarters hospital in Kohat. Police say they are trying to find out which group was behind grenade blast deaths. The authorities are collecting more information to assist in the authorities bringing those responsible to justice.
