DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A close relative of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur was killed in a firing incient in the Kulachi Tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan district.
According to the family sources, Saqlain Gandapur, son of Ali Amin Gandapur’s uncle, was killed after an unknown individual opened fire on him.
The incident happened a day after the KP Chief Minister visited the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Headquarters where she praised the substantial progress made by the department over the past year.
During his visit, Gandapur inaugurated the newly-constructed Investigation and Intelligence Block along with the announcment of an additional Rs1 billion to further strengthen the department.
“The provincial government is providing plots to the families of police martyrs, and the recruitment quota for their children has been increased from 5% to 12.5%,” he said.
