Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin Gandapur engage in arguments over protest strategy

Arrest warrants issued for Bushra Bibi & CM Gandapur in PTI protest case

ISLAMABAD: As the convoy of PTI protestors coming from Kyhber Pakhtunhawa moved towards Islamabad, a clash over the decision to continue the protest erupted between Imran’s wife Bushra Bibi, and KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur.

Sources told Daily Ausaf that instructions from PTI founder Imran Khan’s spouse regarding the ongoing protest have created problems for Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur as the letter wants to convey to travel at a slow speed.

Ali Amin Gandapur and party spokesperson Sheikh Waqas Akram wanted the main convoy should be taken slowly towards Islamabad and also make stops along the way so that as many people as possible can participate in this convoy, sources said.

On the contrary, Imran Khan’s wife, who is currently leading the convoy, has been directing the convoy to travel at the fastest speed possible to reach Islamabad quickly, sources within the convoy told.

However, it has been learned that earlier PTI planned to reach Islamabad in about 7 days. But after the entry of Bushra Bibi into the scene, all this is happening against the plan, and the PTI leadership is currently stuck in a strange situation, party sources said. Gandapur expressed that the former first lady doesn’t have much understanding of politics as she is not a politician, sources said.

Daily Ausaf also learned that Chief Minister Gandapur and Bushra Bibi also engaged in arguments before leaving for Islamabad. Gandapur told Bushra Bibi to come with the convey but let us [political leadership] do our work, we know how to get Imran Khan released and how to protest, but, Khan’s wife did not pay any special attention to Gandapur’s words, the sources within the party confirmed.
