KP Election Commission sends notices to ministers on violating code of conduct

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Election Commission has sent notices to 2 MPAs and one MNA for violating code of conduct.

Moreover, Provincial Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Finance Taimur Jhagra and MPA Asif Khan have been summoned by the ECP on December 14.

Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan Sher Ali Arbab has also been directed to appear on December 14 on the charges of violation.

ECP while monitoring local bodies elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said the commission will ensure transparency in the conduct of local government elections in the province.
