ISLAMABAD: Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided that the salaries and pensions of government employees will be paid by March 16. This announcement has been made to provide financial relief to the employees during the Eid celebrations.
Earlier, the Punjab government had also announced the payment of salaries and pensions in advance for its government employees and pensioners.
The Punjab Finance Department issued a notification saying that this month’s salaries will be provided to all employees on March 16.
Along with government employees, pensioners will also be paid by March 16. The aim of this move is to save retirees from financial difficulties and facilitate their preparations for Eid.
