KP introduces facial recognition attendance in hospitals

PESHAWAR: Government employees should be aware that now the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to introduce a new attendance system.

According to ARY News, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department has decided to introduce a new attendance system, facial recognition, in the hospitals of the province.

In this regard, instructions have been issued to the district health officers and MSs to ensure immediate implementation, complete the registration of employees and facial data immediately, and share this data at the district level.

A modern facial and biometric attendance system will be implemented in all departments of the health sector and an independent monitoring unit will monitor the implementation and implementation of this system. The monitoring unit will regularly submit progress reports to the health department.

The notification issued in this regard states that the facial recognition system will ensure transparency and attendance in health centers, while patients will get better facilities due to the reduction in absenteeism of health employees.

The notification also warns of departmental action against those who delay or neglect the implementation of the new attendance system.
