KP removes obstacles for Rs12,500 Ramadan Relief Package

PESHAWAR: Obstacles in obtaining Rs 12,500 under the Ramadan Relief Package have been removed, so that the relief money can reach them as soon as possible.

According to the details, on the instructions of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Social Welfare Department has established special redressal committees to resolve the problems encountered during the payment of money to the deserving persons under the Ramadan Relief Package 2026.

The government announcement said that if any deserving person faces problems in obtaining the package, he can immediately approach the office of the concerned Assistant Commissioner.

Error in identity card or mobile number

For those whose data is incomplete, the Assistant Commissioner’s Office will forward the case to the Deputy Commissioner for correction after verification.

Fingerprint problems

Elderly or disabled persons whose fingerprints are not matching should obtain a certificate and Family Registration Certificate (FRC) from NADRA and contact the AC office, so that the money can be transferred to a close relative.

Death of the eligible person

If the person selected for the package has died, then the amount will be paid to the family as per NADRA records on submission of the death certificate and application.

Blocked CNIC

It has been clarified that payment will not be possible on blocked CNIC and such amount will be transferred back to the Director Social Welfare.

The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has strictly directed the administration to ensure timely and immediate redressal of the grievances of the eligible persons during the holy month of Ramadan, instead of making them visit offices. So that the relief amount reaches them as soon as possible.
