ISLAMABAD: Public transport from Lahore to Islamabad and Olapindi is still partially closed today, due to which passengers are facing severe difficulties.
According to transporters, all buses going to Islamabad via the motorway are parked at the bases and are not being allowed to depart.
On the other hand, some buses traveling via GT Road are going to Rawalpindi, but these buses are also not allowed to enter the entire city.
Transporters say that buses going to Rawalpindi are only reaching the “number 26” location, after which passengers are having to take alternative means to reach their destination.
Transporters say that until all routes are fully restored, direct bus service to Islamabad will remain suspended.
The public is facing severe difficulties due to the closure of public transport within Islamabad as well.
