Lahore weather forecast: Rain breaks heat spell in Lahore

LAHORE: Yesterday’s rain broke the heat spell in Lahore, which helped to temper the weather and made it more pleasant. Today dry weather is expected in Lahore and other parts of the province. However, partly cloudy weather is likely in the Pothohar region with rain-wind/thunderstorm/drizzle expected in Murree, Galliyat, and surrounding.

Here are the rainfall amounts in millimeters: Mandi Bahauddin got 12, Multan got 9 at the airport and 8 in the city, Jhelum got 8, Murree got 7, Okara and Toba Tek Singh got 5, Hafizabad got 4, Jhang got 3, Sheikhupura, Kasur, and Lahore (at the airport) got 2, Rawalpindi got 1 at the Kacheri, Mangla and Faisalabad also got 1.

Bahawalpur stayed the hottest at 37 degrees Celsius. In Lahore, the high was 35 degrees Celsius. The humidity was 64% in the morning in Bahawalpur and 66% in Lahore.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department said most of Pakistan has dry air. A westerly wave is coming towards western Pakistan on April 24th. This means some upper parts of Punjab might have partly cloudy weather on Tuesday night and Wednesday. Murree, Galyat, and nearby areas might get rain, wind, or thunderstorms on Tuesday night.
